Social Media Marketing uses algorithms. They are very sensitive. These algorithms are designed to bring you exactly what you want, even before you realize you wanted it. Some find this mysterious and frightening. But we can be empowered when we understand algorithms and drive them to benefit us.
You can train your algorithm by practicing these few things regularly:

Like/Share/Comment your friend's business posts and on other content you would like to see more of.

Be sure to "Favorite" pages you would like to see all their content. FEED PREFERENCES

Be sure to build your Custom List of accounts you want to see more of. CUSTOM LISTS - FAVORITES

Do not pause on content you do not want to see more of. (3 Seconds pauses trigger the algorithm to show you more of that content.)
